“Indiscretions” by Yolanda Hooks Buick is the all too common tale of a marriage built on a foundation of deceit and
betrayal.  This fictitious story tackles some real world topics such as domestic abuse, infidelity, and friendship.  Craig
and Casey’s marriage is filled with drama as they interact with the other cast of characters that challenge the strength
of their relationship.  The rotating first person narrative affords an interesting perspective and insight as the plot
unfolds, and also delivers a little lively reading.

“Indiscretions is a decently written novel that tells a romantic story laced with happiness, heartache, betrayal and
everything in between.  Predictable in some ways, yet captivating in others, all in all, Indiscretions is a nice read.”

“What happens when you tell a lie? You have to keep making up more lies to cover the others. Indiscretions kept me
up, trying my best not to jump ahead to see what Craig was hiding. Yolanda Buick has creatively developed a story line
that some are facing right now. I love the way she wrote the character. I felt like I was changing with them. I was in their
business wanting to know everything. This book is a Must Read. I highly recommend it to everyone.”

“Would you get married to the woman of your dreams if you were holding secrets? Indiscretions by Yolanda Hooks
Buick delves into the lives of Craig and Casey, a couple who just after ten months are about to take their relationship to
another level. Marriage is for some but not all says Craigs' friends, who tell him "you should not go into this not being
honest with Casey". Craig is holding secrets and more than one that could possibly end his marriage for good. Will
Craig come clean or will he take the secrets to his grave?
Craig and Casey's relationship is doomed from the beginning. Craig is very manipulative and demanding. He stays out
all hours of the night with no explanation and when confronted he comes up with all kinds of excuses. Guilt-ridden he
will not confess to Casey and instead turns the tables on her making her feel like she is the one doing dirt and
damaging the marriage.
Hold on to your seats while Ms. Buick takes you on a bumpy ride through love, tears, anguish, cheating and betrayal. I
recommend this book to all fiction lovers, and I cannot wait for her next release.”

“Things can't be better for Casey and Craig. Though only together for a short time they fall madly in love, deciding to
take it to the next level of marriage. While her mother sees straight through him to his soul Casey is convinced that
Craig is the man she'll spend the rest of her life with.
Casey is everything to him, Babes as he calls her. Craig stands confident in the decision to make her his wife but all the
love in the world can't over shadow the grim, dark secret he covers. His heart darkens with each lie, digging deceit that
puts Casey on notice.
Craig inevitably submits to crazed inner demons; reflections of his tormented past. Casey vows not to be another
statistic but can't ignore the love in her heart. She believes in that sacred vow, determined to give her marriage a shot.
Craig carries on with his double life of lies and destruction until the truth leaks out. Casey breaks down, torn between
the man she promised to love and the fading flame on the side who just may be the one.
When all the characters were introduced and settled into the story I saw the major twists that formed coming from the
start. This was still a good read capable of keeping the interest, very well crafted.” Reviewed: by
